Stanislav Makovsky is composer and performer multi-instrumentalist actually based in Paris. He was born in Siberia, Russia in 1988.

Studied cello and musicology in the Kemerovo Music College, composition in Moscow Conservatory with Yuri Kasparov, then as a composer in The Conservatoire de Paris (CNSMDP) with Stefano Gervasoni, and electronic with Luis Naon, Yan Maresz and Tom Mays. Aleksandros Markeas and Vincent Lê Quang – improvisation. Bruno Coulais – music for image.

He works as composer and improviser regularly with different ensembles and improvisers such as Multilaterale, Les Metaboles, Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble, Ensemble Recherche, Neue Vocalsolisten Stuttgardt, GAMEnsemble, MolOt, Studio for New Music Ensemble, Alexander Markvart, Andrei Korobeinikov, Evgeny Novikov, Duot, Studio of Unconscious Music, Siberian Improvisation Company and others.

His music was commissioned by Ariam Il-de-France, IRCAM, Teatro la Fenice, Le Fresnoy, Musicatreize, la SACEM and others.

In the cinema and theatre worked with the directors as Volker Schlöndorff, Daniel Jeanneteau, Genadzi Buto, Ewan Golder, Santi Zegarra and others

Took part in the Academy in Tchaikovsky City (2011), Darmstadt Ferienkurse (2012), The Voix Nouvelles in Royaumont  (2014), Manifest IRCAM in Paris (2016-2018)

As improviser took part in ERASMUS project at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague (2013) with Richard Barrett, Festival Mixtur in Barcelona (2015),
